Nestled in northwestern Quebec, Temiscamingue and Abitibi are home to a natural environment that reigns supreme. This land, 85% of which is covered by a dense forest, is an outdoor paradise, with a diversity of landscapes that will leave you breathless thanks to the presence of two distinctive forest realities, the mixed forest and the boreal forest. With its 2.2 inhabitants per km2, this green region exudes calm and tranquility. Its rural and bucolic countryside with abundant and colorful crops plunges anyone who wanders there on two wheels into a state of great serenity.
In Témiscamingue and Abitibi, green shares the decor with blue. A network of 22,000 lakes and rivers with abundant ramifications, spectacular waterfalls and exhilarating cascades will delight anyone who is caught by the magnetism of paddling there.
