Cyclo-route of the Moccasin line

Built on an old railroad track, this linear park, made of stone dust, links Angliers to Ville-Marie, passing through Laverlochère and Lorrainville. Along this trail, nature unfolds its wilderness. As you pedal along, you will see landscapes that are sometimes flat and sometimes mountainous. You will pass by rock walls, waterfalls, rocky outcrops and several small streams. You will pass through areas of fields, plantation forests and natural forests. The forest here is composed of birch, aspen, maple, fir and spruce. The section between Laverlochère and Lorainville allows for the observation of urubus and sandhill cranes, while the section between Lorrainville and Ville-Marie has a rest area with a view of five beaver dams.
