Reservation policy

The customer's reservation for a package, training, a road shuttle service, luggage transport and/or guardian angel, equipment rental constitutes a contract by which he accepts the terms and conditions provided for in this in particular to complete the risk acceptance form when it comes to a package or training.

PAYMENT TERMS

When booking online, by phone or in person, the customer must pay 100% of the cost of the reservation.
All prices may be subject to taxes (5% GST and 9.975% QST).
A valid credit card is required to make a reservation online, by phone or in person.

MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

For any modification or cancellation of a reservation, we invite you to contact the Sales and Reservations Department of the Coop de l'Arrière-Pays at 819 629-9448. An advisor will follow up on your request according to the applicable terms and conditions.

CANCELATION

31 DAYS AND MORE BEFORE THE DATE OF YOUR RESERVATION
100% refund of the amount paid.

FROM 16 TO 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE OF YOUR RESERVATION
Refund of 70% of the amount paid (30% non-refundable).

15 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE THE DATE OF YOUR RESERVATION
No refund of the reservation in any situation (neither refundable, nor credited, nor transferred to a later date).

AT ANY TIME FOR ANY RESERVATION
The cancellation policy applies for any downward modification of an existing reservation, late arrival or departure before the end.

CASE OF FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that the Coop de l'Arrière-Pays has to close its facilities due to circumstances that are beyond its control, refunds will be possible or credited according to the customer's choice. Rain is not a canceling factor.


INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO THE EQUIPMENT PROVIDED BY COOP DE L'ARRE-COUNTRY DURING A PACKAGE OR TRAINING

All damage or breakage caused to Coop de l'Arrière-Pays equipment will be cleaned or repaired at the customer's expense.

SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON EQUIPMENT RENTAL

HARDWARE SUPPORT

The material must be picked up at the Coop de l'Arrière-Pays service center located in Ville-Marie.

Equipment can be picked up as soon as the service center opens and returned no later than half an hour before closing. When picking up the equipment, the renter must present photo identification (driver's license or health insurance card).

The lessee acknowledges having checked and noted that the rented equipment is in good condition at the time of taking possession of it and undertakes to return it in the same condition and on the date indicated on the rental contract.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A security deposit is required when picking up the equipment.

BREAKAGE, LOSS OR THEFT

If a piece of equipment is returned damaged (breakage or excessive wear), repair costs estimated by the Coop de l'Arrière-Pays equipment manager will be charged to the renter's credit card. If the item is too damaged to repair, the replacement cost of the damaged piece of equipment will be charged to the renter's credit card.

In the event of loss or theft of a piece of equipment, the lessee agrees to assume the cost of replacing the equipment according to the new value. This amount will be charged to the renter's credit card.

The lessee is responsible for the infrastructure or equipment during the rental period.

– Baggage transported at the risk of the owner

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE TRANSPORTED AT THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER (NOT INSURABLE IN CASE OF BREAKAGE OR LOSS)

– Fragile items (antiques, works of art, …)
– Electronic equipment (computer, electronic tablet, etc.)
– Valuable object (credit card, money, jewelry, etc.)

LOST OR DAMAGED BAGGAGE

Any lost or damaged luggage must be reported to our company as soon as possible after having noted it. An event report must be made within 24 hours for all lost or damaged luggage. Searches for luggage declared lost will be carried out during a period of 30 days maximum. Claims for lost or damaged luggage must be sent in writing or by email to our customer service department within 30 days of the event. Claims must include a description of the breakage or lost item with supporting photo and an estimate of the repair or replacement.

DRUG, ALCOHOL AND BEHAVIOR POLICY

Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be able to participate in the activity.

Before and during the activities, it is forbidden to consume, to have in one's possession and to be under the influence of any drugs, illicit substances or medication (prescription or not). It is also forbidden to be under the influence of alcohol. In addition, no aggressive behavior will be tolerated during the activity.

Any breach of these rules could result in the expulsion of a participant without notice, without the possibility of reimbursement.
